Thank you so much for answering my post. That makes me feel better. My Dr. will be back on Monday. I found all of this out this past Monday, so I've been researching and all I find are scary things. Thank you ladies, yall are wonderful. :)
Yes, agree with Trudie. I was scared to death when my Dr. kept using the term cyst and tumor in the same office visit after my TVUS!! When does your doctor return?
Cysts are very, very common in younger women, so please try not to worry and come see us on the Ovcy forum..

Hi there. Doctors will often use the terms mass, tumour, or cyst interchangeably. All the same. I would suspect that the vs. means they aren't sure. My scans indicated one grapefruit sized simple cyst and after surgery was told multiple cysts that had bled together. I can't answer you on the contiguous but do look at the health pages (top right) and there is some info on cysts. Please do follow up with us on the ovarian cyst forum. There are a lot of people with a lot of experience in this area who can help you.
