ovarian tumuor

I have had a reptured cyst in Oct 2004,and the cyst reoccured. The test didnt have normal.The scan shows its a thick mass.I have very severe pains and enlarged tummy,which makes me think i might have ovarian cancer. I am not so courageous to discuss with my family and friend. I wish to do the ca125 but i  think i cant face it alone.

yes, do get this checked out but please don't panic.  Remember that over 95% of cysts are benign and the symptoms you are describing could just be from the cyst/mass/tumour.  Do ensure you get something for pain - there is no reason to put up with it.  My cysts (multiple that were the size of grapefruit) made me look 5 months pregnant and were awfully painful.  All the best, Trudie

please darlin run do not walk to a gyn oncologist who is a very specialized specialist in this area .. bring any old scans u can come up with
