ovarian cyst removed...standing really hurts

Hi girls,

Can you please help me with this one?? My surgery was 3.5 weeks ago and I am still having pain!! I had a laporascopy and had my ovary removed. If I stand for a long period of time like more than an hr. I get these sharp pains there and it hurts! I am still not back at work and it's very frusterating! I am thinking that since I opened some doors..like at the coffee shop or places like that. It's hard to wait for someone to open it for me, so I am stubborn and open it myself. What to do?????

Hello,

I had a large ovarian cyst removed laparoscopically as well and it did take quite some time to heal with the area being quite tender for quite a few weeks and would hurt or ache if I used my abdominals too strenuously. There is probably some scar tissue (almost certainly) there that will take some time to settle down. Take it as easy as you can!
