There are several women in this forum that have gotten pregnant while having cysts, after cystectomy, and also after losing an ovary due to oophectomy. It really all depends on your body. Sometimes you might have to have medical help to get pregnant, other times you might get pregnant no problem. But when youre trying to get pregnant im sure you can work with your doctor as to how to get pregnant. I really wouldnt worry yourself over it. You cant help if you do get re occuring cysts; all you can do is work with your dr to deal with them.

I have already responded to a previous thread you created. Unfortunately it is summer time and many people will be away on summer holidays so it seems the forum is slow :)

Yes, cysts can form again, that doesnt mean they will happen to you. Many women get them, and never even know they have them (usually only 3cm and smaller) which is caused because of ovulation, and at their period, it goes away. Unfortunately, in some cases, cysts do form again and dont go away on their own. At that point, the dr(gynecologist/family dr) will look at what is best for you, such as trying birth control to shrink the cysts and keep them away( for me, that works, if i take it 3 months at a time instead of the normal 21 day cycles) or another medication. If it does not work, they may have to look at doing another surgery.

No one really knows why cysts continue to come back other than ovulation, some women are just cystic(like me), some have PCOS, etc...None of us are doctors, so we cant tell you what your chances are of having cysts come back, or why... The best thing you can do if you have concern is to go and see your doctor.
