i found that too. it hurt to get up and start doing things, but nits the best thing you can do. sitting or laying and doing nothing can have the muscles heal funny. which makes it harder. i started with simple things, walking, stretches... i took ibuprofen and used heat/ice compresses on my stomach when needed. Its a rough go at first, but does get better. I still have twinges and pains on right side where ovary and tube used to be. But its not always as severe. At my work I'm on my feet all day long, some days I still tire faster than others, or hurt more than others and often forget that maybe i should take some ibuprofen etc.

Every woman is different. However, I believe you're supposed to have a check up with surgeon/obgyn to see how you are healing around 6 weeks post op. Externally, incision healed wonderfully for me by week 6... internally however it has still taken some time and recovery seemed to slow a lot. I'm now almost 4 months(june 2) post op, and i still find my core muscles get tired easily or have a "bruised" feeling.
