hi sandy thanks for your reply, the cyst is 3.7cm, the reason for me going to get a ultra sound was because i was having irregular bleeding like bleeding for 2 weeks than stop for a week than start again. and i had lower stomach pains. than the first time i went for the ultra sound they found a 2.7cm cyst on my left ovary which was filled with blood, so my dr had put me on the pill and said that it shud just disappear in the next month. But i was still getting the pains and  always felt sick in the stomach so went bak to the dr and he sent me for another ultra sound and the report came bak that there was no cyst on the left ovary but now a 3.7cm cyst on the right. I am going back to the doctor this thursday so hopefully i shud get some answers.

What does your Dr. say about the report? He /she should explain it in detail .. You might like to check the top right of this page "Health Pages'" There is a lot of information on cysts.. Is that 3.7 mm or 3.7 cm? And you didn't mention why you had the ultrasound ...
Were you having any kind of symptoms?

Are you having any kind of follow up appt? Let us know how it goes..
