Hi Cupcake,
I want to welcome you to the Pain Management Forum and let you know that we are very happy that you have found our Forum. I do need to let you know that there are NO Doctors on the Forum only CP (Chronic Pain) Patients that help each other by sharing our experiences and expertise from our own situations.
I'm sorry that you are still experiencing your bone pain. Even tho you are 18 years old now you are probably still doing some growing. However, I would definitely check with your Dr. and se if they can figure out what's going on.
I read your other posts on here and I see that you have 3 month old Precious Baby!! Congratulations!! I'm thinking that it would be a really good idea to check this out and be sure that it isn't something that could be hereditary as it began when you were VERY young. That's just a thought that I had as I'm sure that you would want answers JUST in case your Baby might have something similar come up as they start to grow.
Please keep us updated and let us know what the Dr.'s say as we REALLY do care about you....Sherry
Hi Cupcake: I'd like to welcome to our community as well.
First off, I agree with Sherry. You should go to the doctor to check this out. Probably nothing serious but it would certainly be a good idea to check.it out. Especially as the mom of a precious little baby. It's very important for moms to take extra good care of themselves. Sometimes it is so hard to find time for taking care of us. Between feeding, diapering and caring for the baby, you have so much more laundry and house cleaning to do! It gets overwhelming. It's important that you get your rest and see the doctor.
As for still growing, it's been my experience that yes, sometimes at 18 you have further to go. All the males in my family got taller after age 18. The females seemed to be done with growing. I don't know what that means. It could be a gender issue but I don't know. Ask your doctor.
Again welcome to our forum,
Sara
