Bruised Heel Pain

I have a bruised heel on my left foot.  I stepped on a rock wearing flip flops.  That happened a month ago and the pain is still with me.  How long should this take to heel?  Does anyone know a remedy or answers for me?  Your help is appreciated.  Thanks

Healing rates and time varies in everyone however I agree that this should at least have improved by now. Bruised bones are painful and when you are walking on them all the time it can continual aggravate the injured area.

You may have triggered an underlying foot condition/problem. It's time to see your physician and have this clinically evaluated.......Or as Jaybay suggested you could have injured your bone.

Hope you will keep in touch and let us know what your discover from you PCP.

Take Care,

A stone bruise would have healed by now.  I've had them myself and they're usually gone in a week or two at most.  Since you are still experiencing pain, you need to see your doctor.  It's possible you may have a fracture and you shouldn't try to deal with that kind of injury by yourself.  The really isn't a good home remedy to offer since you don't know if you have a fracture, soft tissue injury, or both.  Please stay in touch and let us know how you come along.  :-)
