Hello Maureenmo,
Welcome to the Pain Mangement Forum. I am glad that you found us at MedHelp and posted. But I am sorry to hear bout your neck pain.
It could be possible that the pain on the right side of your neck was so extreme that you didn't notice the pain on the left side. Did you have any pain at all on the left prior to the RFA.
Another possibility is that the area is just inflamed or irritated and reacting to the RFA. But as Mollyrae suggested the best way to determine what the source of your pain may be is to have it checked by your physician. I would not ignore it or try to rationalize why you are having this pain. An MRI or at the least a good clinical exam will be beneficial.
Best of luck to you. I hope you will let us know how you are progressing. Take care.
Peace,
Tuck
Hi:
Your best bet is to have this re-checked by your Doctor. Don't let pain go unattended. The longer you wait to have it examined could result in more damage to the area.
My best,
Mollyrae
