Hi and welcome to the Pain Management Forum. I am glad that you have found us but sorry to hear about your pain.
When you say lower left side of your stomach do you mean abdomen?.....Or do you mean stomach? I am not a physician, there are no physicians on this site.
Lower left abd pain could be caused by multiple issues as Mollyrae stated including, Appendicitis, Ectopic Pregnancy, Ovarian Cyst, Diverticulitis, PID or Irritable Bowel Syndrome to name a few.
If the pain is actually in your stomach than it could be related to an Ulcer, GERD, Hiatal Hernia or Gastritis, again just to name a few. The abdominal cavity contains many of our vital organs and without a good clinical exam and possibly some additional testing it can be difficult to diagnosis.
In my opinion if your pain is sudden and acute you should seek an immediate medical evaluation. If it is more chronic than it is still time to make an appointment with your PCP.
I hope you will let us know how you are doing. We will look forward to your updates. Good luck to you and take care, Tuck
Hello aquarius and welcome to the Pain Forum.
There could be a number of things causing you discomfort. The only way to evaluate you is to see a Physician which there are none in this forum. Pain is a way of telling you that something is wrong and the longer you let it go, the more serious it could get.
Please make an appt. to see your PMP. Have them run a few tests to make sure that there isn't something serious going on. I wish I had better advise for you but this is it.
Please take care and good luck,
Mollyrae
