Sandee1818 is correct, there are several approaches to Fibro treatment. I do not have Fibro but here are many here that do and will offer you good suggestions and information.

There are 5 million ppl afflicted with Fibro. Alternative treatment for fibromyalgia include exercise (non-aerobic), nutrition, stress, massage, acupuncture, soft tissue manipulation, Pilate's and Yoga and those types of non traditional medicine are considered beneficial for some Fibro ppl.

For others they feel traditional medicine offers a more beneficial approach such as medications, PT and Pain Management Therapist.  And for still others a combination of the two seem to provide the most relief.

I know that even with all the therapy's and medications Fibro suffers still have very bad days that nothing seems to help them.

Others will respond soon with better suggestions and responses than I can offer. But please know that we are here to listen and offer any help we can, and in my case that may just be an ear to listen. I do know what severe, intense, CP is and how if effects our lives. I am sorry for your pain. Take care and hang in there, you are not alone. Tuck

Are you seeing a Dr for fibromyalgia? You have several options depending on how you want to treat your pain including letting the Dr prescribe medications and therapies such a massage therapy and there are several diets that are aimed just for people suffering from fibro. It really depends on how you would like to be treated, medically or holistically( natural medicine).
