Help

I have a pain in my right arm. I originally thought i pulled a muscle but i have started to see a little bruising. I feel the pain on the inside of my arm towards my armpit all the way down to below my inner elbow. There is no pain during regular movements it is only when i touch it or straighten my arm. What could it be?

well the doctor replied to you so thats great.....but ive had that same pain for 15 years..mine was cause by damage to the cervical area (my neck)...it travels from behind my ear ,down my neck to the tip of my shoulder, down under my armpit and to my elbow....surgery relieved some of the pain..but there is still narrowing in the spinal column and bulging discs that cannot be reached ...they are now surrounded by titanium almost cage like.....i am not trying to scare you sorry if i did.....it just sounds like maybe something in your neck but the brusing is not familiar to me ,unless you have been rubbing it or something....see your doctor, i am just aware of what your describing.......are any of your fingers numb or tingling

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi!
If there is bruise, it could be a clot in any vein. It can also be inflammation of a vein or lymphatic. The other possibility is some bleeding under the skin. This can be due to injury, or use of blood pressure medication or contraceptive pills (in females). Do discuss this with your doctor and get yourself examined. Take care!

The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you. The advice may not be completely correct for you as the doctor cannot examine you and does not know your complete medical history. Hence this reply to your post should only be considered as a guiding line and you must consult your doctor at the earliest for your medical problem.
