I had numbness in my left arm and hand about a year ago and when I went to the Dr I found out I had a pinched nerve in my shoulder. So it would be worth it to go get it checked out! Good luck!

Welcome Turquoise,

I am glad you found us at the pain management community of MedHelp. I am sorry that you are experiencing numbness in your left arm.

I the same concern that Mollyrae noted. Can this be cardiac related? If you have not seen your physician I suggest you do so asap. If you have seen a physician and he has no answers for you than I suggest you seek a second opinion.

Please feel free to elaborate on your post and possibly we can be of more assistance. Good luck to you. Let us know how you are doing.  Peace, Tuck

Hi:

Welcome to the Pain Forum. This numbness could be related to many things. The older in age you are, the more I would worry about the heart. To ease your fears, I would suggest a visit to you Doctor. Tell them what has been going on. I'm sorry that I can give you no more information as your symptoms are vauge. Please take care and make that Doctors appt.
