Oxycodone (A.K.A. Roxicodone 15 mg) MAX single & daily dose??

I have knee pain in both knees so severe that an orthopedic surgeon said I need "total knee replacement" of both knees. I must lose about 70 LBS before any surgeon will do the surgery, since recovery and physical rehab would never happen when a patient exceeds 300 pounds,

I take between 120 mg and 150 mg of Roxicodone (Generic oxycodone) per day just to make my days tolerable.
What is the Max Single dose and daily dose for Oxycodone?

I am NOT talking about the extended use medication                                                                                                         Coxycontin.  Thanks

That depends on your doctors comfort levels in prescribing , a patients ability to tolerate side effects, other medical conditions, effectiveness of using opiates,  but typically- most physicians will not prescribe over 90 to 100 MME mg dosing per day-(Morphine equivalent dosing per day)- and typically only for patients who have been on opiates for some time. MME dosing combines both long acting and immediate release types of opiates to reach 90-100mg MME daily.
They ALSO consider risk of abuse/misuse,    following dose instructions exactly, risks of respiratory or cardiac suppression, activity levels, and patient tolerance in considering dosing.
