Pain in right groin

For three or more months I have had intermittent sharp pain in my right groin, right where my femoral pulse can be felt.  It occasionally wakes me up at night.  Lately, I've begun having random, sharp pains in both my lower extremities.  It's not muscular.  I've had no injuries. Suggestions?

Right groin pain is also common with appendicitis.

Groin pain can also be felt when there is degeneration to the hips and from pinched nerves.
As you are experiencing pain in both your lower extremities, this is likely to be referred pain from the groin area.

It is important that you make an appointment to see your doctor so that you can get the right diagnosis and the appropriate treatment.

Best wishes.

These pains are characteristic of a hernia. It is important to get this looked at by an M.D. because the surgical procedure is simple, if the problem is caught early. If, however the bowel becomes pinched and necrotic you are looking at a colostomy bag for a few months.

Although I'm not a Doctor, you may be experiencing a hernia. Your symptoms point to that.

See a Doctor.

Good luck,
