I had a MRI a week ago. My Doc is on Vacation. They said I would have to wait till next week for results.
They did give me some Vicondine for pain. But not many.
Can I take IB with it. I dont think I should take tylenol with it because I see there is some added in the script.
The Vic has helped and at least it seems like I am getting some sleep at night,
I have also notieced that sometimes it seems to keep me awake. I thought it would make me more sleeply but it doesnt have that effect on me.

Thanks for reading.
I have to think of things I can do to keep me busy and not thinking of pain. But right now the things I want to do the pain is preventing me from doing.
I told my children I am not sure I can even cook a Thanksgiving dinner. My husband said he would help me out as much as he could.
Thank goodness for him he is a life saver

I've read a few of the posts by you and if you have SI problems that is typical with a rare arthritic condition called Ankylosing Spondylitis. I have that disease and it comes along with all sorts of back problems. I had a horseback riding accident and terrible back pain from that (spinal fracture) but it never went away. It took several years of MRI X-rays CT scans before the puzzle pieces came together and the drs realized it is AS.

If you have any questions please let me know. I don't check in on this site as often as I would like so private message me if you have any questions. I hope that you are able to get some answers soon!  Feel well

Hi-
It's hard to wait for MRI results, so I feel for you.

It's ok to take Ibuprofen with the tylenol that is in Vicodin. I would clear it with your doctor once he/she is back though. When I took Vicodin it used to have more of an upper effect on me too. Now I am on a different pain meds.

But I do take Ibuprofen esp for lower back pain up to 800 mg three times a day. But that is a pharmaceutical dose that has been cleared by my docs.

Sounds like you have a lovely hubby. Thankfully a turkey is not too hard to cook, and you could probably direct that and much of it from the couch if you had to.
Feel better soon,

Horselip
