Hi,

Thank you for answering my letter.  I had the tops of both my feet broken several years ago and also had an operation on the meniscus (spelling?) in 1976. This was caused by a auto accident.   I am now 71.  I take Lasix - 20 mg. per day for complications from a liver ailment.  Because of this I cannot take many medications.  Not more than 1 Ibuprofen every two or three days.  My doctors say I have degenerative osteoarthritis which was diagnosed in 1980, but in the joints and this I have learned to live with.   This pain occurs in the front leg bone.  From my arches then to my ankles an then up the front bone of my leg and occurs only at night,  Thanks for any help you may offer.

Thanks again
Poppy

Hi Poppy,

Welcome to MedHelp's Pain Management Forum. I am sorry to hear the pain you are experiencing during the night. How long has this been going on?

Did you have an injury? Have you consulted your PCP? There are multiple conditions that can cause the pain you describe. Can you provide more details?

Sometimes if we are overly active in the day we can experience leg pain. Have you increased your activity lately? Do you have any swelling in the extremity? Is it warm to touch?

I'll look forward to hearing more details from you.

Take Care,
~Tuck
