Question about Pain Mgt Dr's in AZ

Does anyone know of any good Pain dr's in AZ? I want one who will actually HELP me!! I have an obnoxiously, wonderful GP, but he can only do so much for me, and unfortunately it isn't enough. The meds he gives me are strong enough, but I need to take them at 4 hour intervals in order to stay functioning, and he is afraid, like most reg dr's, to prescribe anything higher. I don't blame him. The world today has made it SO much harder on those of us that suffer, and the good dr's that are out there, scared. Any help would be appreciated- even a website that list info on Dr's would be nice.Thanks!

      I unfortunitly dont know of any PM DR's in AZ, but just wanted to say that I'm so glad to hear that you have a great GP that treats you as much as he can. That's such a great thing to have a GP that is caring and validates how you feel
Have you treid the phone book or your insurance company. Usually your Insurance will have a list of specialists that they cover. Then you can always look the DR up online.
You can also just type in pain management Doctors in(city), AZ and I'm sure you'll get some results.
Have you tried asking your GP for a referral to one he knows of?

I hope you find one easily and get the treatment you need to control the pain
