Allergic to Pain killers?

Hello,

A while back I took some morphine and my body became itchy and my face went numb, well a few days ago I took oxycotin and the same thing happened. Am I allergic to prescription pain killers?

Itchiness can be a common side effect. Numbness may not. The dose may be too high. Talk to the doctor about the side effects, especially the numbness.
