Hello Will and welcome to the Pain Forum:
I have to agree with Tuck. You really have to look at it this way...What is more important, a few bills or your life??
It is so improtant to seek medical attention in this matter. Your blood pressure is in the danger zone and MUST be addressed asap. There is usually a reason why you're experiencing high blood pressure and the Doctors have to find it.
Like Tuck has said, check into Social Services and see if they can't hook you up with a clinic that at the least uses theh sliding scale fee system.
Please take care and please, please get the help you need.

Hi Will,
Welcome to the Pain Management Forum. I am glad that you found us. But I am very concerned about your symptoms especially at such a young age.
Hypertension can be a killer or worse yet (in my opinion) cause a CVA (stroke) that can leave you paralysed for life. Please return to the ER. You B/P must be better controlled. There are multiple medications that be prescribed and you may just be on the wrong one or need a higher dose. Don't let it go untreated.
Have you applied for state insurance? If not I encourage you to look into that also through your local county human service department. There are free clinics in some areas. Again your local human service office can help you with that. Some counties offer a medical voucher that will allow you to see a PCP. There are options but don't wait for all the paperwork at this point. Return to ER and than apply.
Please let us know how you are doing. I will look forward to your updates with interest and concern. Best of luck to you.
Take Care,
Tuck
