my last post

i posted my last question in the wrong category. i failed to see the topic  'pain', and thus thought the only close choice i had was the 'addiction' topic.  i don't think my situation applies to addiction. i know that my body is physically dependent upon these drugs, and if i were to remove them without proper taper, i would experience what are termed 'withdrawal symptoms', which make one feel very ill, and which i very much want to avoid, as i am not in good health to begin with. so i don't know how to move my last post from the 'addiction' section to the 'pain' section, but maybe a moderator can help me. thank you.

considering the way you iv your meds, it does belong in the substance abuse forum.
many of us live in pain daily and have to deal with whether or not to take meds.  if you have got to the point of putting a needle in your arm for extended release meds, hun, you have a problem.
there is NO SHAME in that.  the danger in shooting those meds is way more dangerous than not taking any pain meds.

Ma'am, I respectfully submit that you absolutely *need* to contact a medical professional as soon as possible. In your recent post, you spoke of shooting up your extended-release morphine pills.

Please go to the ER, and please do what they say, and please get better.
