Sara,

Please, please don't even think about sucicde, I know you must be an  A LOT of pain.
I just joined this forum less than a month ago, and the people on here are just wonderful.  We are all here to try to give you support and just vent if you need too.

As far as the issue with not going, I'm on some pretty heavy meds (narcotics) and I also had that problem, check w/your primary to see if you can take something over the counter like stool softener, I take something every night just so that won't happen again, it was pretty horrible.

Have you been to a Pain Management doctor??  I really think you should see one.  Mine has been verrry helpful and they reallly do understand what you are going through if you have a good one, they will do anything to get to the bottom of your pain.  I have had RSD for over a year now, so don't get upset if you don't get answers right away, cronic pain is very hard to diganose, but again a good PM doctor will go to the end of the world for you and won't make you feel like it's all in your mine.
Like Mellie4 stated the more we know, the better we can help to support you.
YOU HANG IN THERE, and check back often, I will be looking for you (:

Oh my dear mixedblessings.  I simply don't have words to express my dismay at your situation.  I do know what to tell you NOT to do.  DO NOT consider suicide as an option.  Many of us who live in chronic pain have those thoughts.  And that's what they should stay, thoughts only.  You have too many other reasons to fight on.  Concentrate on those.

I have no idea what the source of your pain is.  I'm assuming you've consulted nephrologists  and gastrointerologists.  In the event you haven't, you should.  Neurologists should also be consulted.

In the meantime, I urge you to consult a pain management physician.  Perhaps somewhere in their bag of tricks, they will pull out a method for helping your pain.

Please stick around and check for more responses. I'm sure that someone here will have a far better answer.  And I urge you to stay on our forum and vent, ask questions or whatever you need.  We are a very caring community who embrace all in constant pain.  We warmly welcome you.

Oh, dear, you must be stressed.  Well, this is a great place to get information and support from others that suffer with chronic pain.  There are no doctors on this forum, but I have really benefitted from being here.  Hopefully someone that knows a little of what you talk about will be on and may be able to give you some help.

I will say, though, that not moving your bowels for more than 2 weeks is not good.  You must be incredibly uncomfortable.  Have you taken anything for it?  At this point, you may want to call your primary care.  They may want to get an x-ray to see if you're impacted.  I know a lot of people have trouble when they take narcotics.  I take something everyday to help with that.  I take both Miralax and a stool softener.  Getting impacted once from the medications was enough for me.

Please check back.  You may want to give a little more information about what's going on with you.  Things like how it started, what parts of your body are affected, what medications you've taken, what your doctor has said and if there's anything that makes it better or worse.

No one here, of course, can diagnose you, but maybe someone has had a similar experience and can tell you their story and maybe there will be something for you to mention to your doctor.

Do you go to a pain clinic or pain doctor?  Have you seen any specialists?  Sorry for all the questions, but the more information you give, the more likely you'll get someone to respond.
