Difficulty breathing and difficulty sleeping are often times symptoms of anxiety or stress.  But these same symptoms can also mean something more significant, such as anemia, so it's best to see your medical doc and get this checked out.

Hi jessica,

First I want to welcome you to the Pain Management Forum and let you know that we are glad you found this Forum. I want to let you know that there are NO Doctors on this Forum only CP - Chronic Pain - Patients that help each other with our OWN expertise and experiences that we have developed through our OWN CP Issues.

I'm so sorry for what you are going through.  YOu are WAY to young to have to deal with this.  A 17 year old should be out having fun with your Friends and NOT having to worry about your health!!!  :{

I HOPE that you have told your parents about what is going on with your breathing.  They NEED to know so that they can make a Doctor's appointment for you!!  You DEFINITELY need to go to the Doctor so that he/she can run some tests and see what's going on with you.

PLEASE tell your Parents and WHEN you find out something PLEASE let us know how you are doing!!!

We will be looking forward to an update from you as soon as you can...........Sherry
