Monday back to work

Just wanted to say hello to all my friends here and let you guys know that I did get up and am ready to go to work.  My thoughts are at least to make it half of a day. If I can't make it any longer then I'll go home.  So, when you guys are posting today, if you guys can at least post something throughout the day, letting me know you all are thinking of me, I can go and sign in on breaks and update everyone.  You all have been such a wonderful support system.

Sherry, Sara, Jamie, Bree, Jeff, Melissa, Tuckamore, and everyone else, I know I'm forgetting some names, but I really appreciate all the kind words, suppport and everything that you've provided to me.  You guys have become my family!  I know my day at work will be fine because I know I have this support system to come back to when I get off of work. I do have my first psychiatrist appointment this afternoon.  I was on some anxiety medicine for about six months .5mg at night and I think it's time to stay on that medication and maybe even take it more than once a day.

Everyone have a pain free day!!!

Karen

Sherry,

I've been there six years now and they don't like it that I have FMLA. I'm pretty sure they would fire me if they could, the situation is though that I'm a far exceeds in everything that I do for the job, and the only that's not good is my attendence because of my illnesses.

I went and saw the psychiatrist today and he told me I have PTSD, and they put me on a sleeping pill (trazadone) lexapro, and clonazapem.  I'm glad that I went, but then again now I'm up to about twelve different meds per day.  I'm having trouble keeping them all straight.  I'm wondering if anyone else has that issue.

I've got three more doctor appointments coming up and I've decided that if I can't make it to work, then I can't.  I'm not going to kill myself trying to make my job happy when they obviously would love to get rid of me.  That's what I think anyway.  So, I'm going to take a nice bath tonight, relax and hopefully get a good night sleep.

Have any of you taken these meds that I'm on?

Hi Karen: So sorry you got sick.  Nausea is miserable.  Sherry gave you some good advice.  Have a nice long soak or warm relaxing shower.  I bet you sleep well tonight!  And if tomorrow you can't stay all day, do as you did today.  Would it be possible to work on a part time basis if needed?  I hope so.

Anyway, get a good nights sleep.  Maybe tomorrow will be much better,

Sara

I'm so glad that you are back home and can get a warm shower or baht and try to relax some.

It's a shame that you company treats you lik that!! There are so many companies out there like that. How long have you been employed there? I'm very sorry that you got physically sick today although I'm not surprised after all that you have been thru this weekend.

I hope you can rest comfortably tonight. Still in my thoughts and prayers....Sherry

I made it through the day but it was pretty hard. I started getting physically sick around 10am, came home and threw up a few times and then went back and finished my day.  My boss didn't really say anything to me, didn't welcome me back, or anything like that. It's a shame I work in a company that doesn't care about their employees.  As long as I'm there, that's all they care about.

How was everyone's day?  I'm exhausted from today, I never knew that I would be that tired, but after not working for so long I'm not surprised.  Hope everyone is having a pain free night.

Hey Karen,

How are you feeling? I'm guessing that it is 10:30 am in KS as it is 8:30 here in AZ. Maybe break time. We're on Pacific time, the ONLY state in the Union that doesn't have Daylight Savings Time. At least I don't have to remember to set the clocks anymore!!

How are you doing, Hun? I've been thinking about you all morning and STOLE the computer away from my Granddaughter just so that I could post to you and let you know that we are ALL with you.

PLEASE DON'T OVER DO!!! Let us know how you are doing when you can.

SENDING LOTS OF (((HUGS!!)))....Sherry

Hey Karen,

Best of luck at work today. Just take it a minute at a time. Do what you can and try to keep busy. I found that it helped me get through a painful day at work. A few prayers will help too.

Take Care,
~Tuck
