Iam currently enrolled at a methadone clinic for chronic pain from a bicyckle accident i had in 1991. i underwent 12 surgeries for this accident. i have recently moved to eastern kentucky outside the ashland area so i can be with parents who old and need help does any one know of a doctor in this area that works with chronic pain patients and does mind prescribing them pain meds as long as they don't abuse it which i don't have a problem with.any help at this point in time would be greatly appreciated. Hi Drew:

Your best bet is to either call your old Doc for a referral (don't forget to have your Medical Records sent as well) or google " Pain Management" for the area that your currently in. The Medical Records will be important to the new Doctor who will be treating you. They will validate the use of opiates.
