Hi there,

I am new here but I thought I would let you know that the pain you are suffering is one of my symptoms. I have to ask tho, do you suffer from spastic colon or what is now called Irritable Bowel Syndrome. It just basically means your either constipated or running like hell and your stomach is well like you said 'feels like you'r being stabbed'

But I think Tuck has a point because if it has been going on for so long and you have no help for it you really should see someone. That there is help for unlike the list of other things we have to suffer with.

Good Luck
Sue.

Hi Clut,

Welcome to MedHelp's Pain Management Forum. I am sorry that you are having stomach pains.

There are several reasons that you could be having this pain. It may be GERD, an ulcer or any number of gastrointestinal conditions. If the pain is keeping you awake at night it is nothing to ignore. You should seek a clinical evaluation by your PCP or Urgent Care.

I hope you will let us know how you are doing especially after you have a diagnosis. You are welome here anytime but you may also want to post in our Gastroenterology Forum. Their members may offer you more specific comments.

Best of luck to you and please take care. Don't let these stomach pains go untreated.

Peace,
Tuck
