Hi, Sir
I think you'd better to use acupuncture. We do not know how the surgery be but it is common that it should leave some chronic lower back pain as aftermath. Acupuncture can adjust the ligament tense and promote the circulation around focus and will make a significant relief. If you can accompanied with herbal medicine, it should be fantastic. Contact to an acupuncturist around you as soon as possible.

Hello Cornelius,

I see this is your first post on the Pain Management Forum. I searched your profile and cannot find anything relating to the hernia issues. Congratulations on your desire to be an anesthesiologist. I wish you well and hope you can reach your goals. I believe we can do anything we set our minds to do.

Be assertive and ask the physicians/surgeon the questions you feel they are not answering. I cannot guess what might be going on but it behoves you to have all the facts. Insist on being listened to and have your questions and concerns addressed.

Best of Luck,
~Tuck
