Usually, depending on the test, either instantly, or just a couple of days. But depending on when you took the Xanax, that might have been out of your system already, so he might not even know about that. It might just show that you didn't have Vicodin in your system. If he hasn't said anything to you, he might not. If he does, then just explain that you had a flair up (which I assume, that's why you ran out early) and if this hasn't happened before, he might even forgive it this one time. I would think that it would be OK to try to get your meds filled when due and go from there. Let me know how it works out for you and good luck and god bless.
Thanks yeah have not herd anything yet how long does it take to get results back?
Hi there, yes, your doctor can void and/or cancel your refills. The Xanax, while it was your prescription, was NOT currently being prescribed for you so depending on your doctor, not only can he not refill your meds, he can drop you as a patient and put something in your medical file, that will make it harder for another doctor to treat you. Your best bet is to come clean and be honest with your doctor. Good luck.
