Pain Management Clinics

When I started seeing my PM dr. I signed a contract. From what I've read its a basic contract they all have you sign. My question is, can I decide to not see this dr. anymore and go to another one? If so, how does that works with the contract? Thanks for any and all help. Kind of new at this.

I agree to follow what your new physician tells you.  We'll be switching my father to his original pain team.  I'm hoping when they find out he went to the different one they won't take him back.  (His primary thought it would be better to keep all the physicians under the same umbrella so he went to this new one once.  Never told the old one we were leaving.  He's not liking the new physician & he's further away.)

When I switched clinics I asked my new doctor what I should do. He said I shouldn't go back there and not to have any prescriptions filled from the old place. That was good enough for him. I would suggest contacting your new clinic and asking them how they would like you to handle. Good luck to you!
