Hi shorty I do agree this is the withdrawl process. I am titrating off of Fentanyl since Nov of 2013. I am now almost at my last month of titration. I have experienced withdrawls also. This is what has helped me...keep yourself hydrated..if you don't like plain water, then I would suggest something like vit. water or Gateraide. Try and keep yourself moving..I know it is hard..but the more you lay around the moremuscles pain you will get, Take hot showers or baths with Epsom salts,as stated above. Don't eat high carb diet..stay away from highly sugary foods(junk foods)Take a multivit.every day with food.If you are still bothered by nausea..ask your doc for a anti nausea med. Try and get yourself involved in something you like or enjoy doing. I hope this will help you. Many blessing and strength. Hugs/Smiles God Bless Cindi
My insurance company did the same thing and I was without Lyrica for over 2 months, but we appealed the insurance company decision and won. I now have my Lyrica covered again. Please do not allow your insurance company to dictate your treatment. Fight them all of the way. Good luck! Also my doc said that just stopping Lyrica cold turkey can cause seizures and possibly death. If you are stopping please be careful.
Yes, this is not opiate withdrawal.
Can your doctor recommend gabapentin? This medication, also called Neurontin, is chemically similar to pregabalin.
Hi there-
Lyrica is a little different than opiate medications in terms of weaning off.
It is pre-gabalin and GABA affects your mood as well. You might consider asking your doctor about whether a low dose of an antidepressant type medication could help you with your wean off of Lyrica.
Hope that you feel better soon.

Yes it sounds like withdrawals. Try taking hot baths with Epsom salt. Pamela
