Inappropriate Behavior

My son's history is one of high attention needs.  Since he began Kindergarten this fall, we have been working on keeping our hands to ourselves in the classroom and on the playground.  Upon picking up my 6 year old son from after school care, located at the same elementary that he attends, I was informed that my child had grabbed another boy in the groin area.  The after school teacher also mentioned that my son had done this on the playground as well to the same child.  Of course we were extremely shocked and disappointed that he would do such a thing.  We did not yell, we sat with him and discussed the severity of the situation and went over private parts and places we do not touch or let others touch us.  He has been told that he can no longer play with this child as the other parent happened to be standing there when this took place.  We will also be consulting with the Guidance Counselor tomorrow.  When asking my son why he would do this, where he learned this, has anyone ever done this to him, etc., he expressed that no one has ever done this to him and that he doesn't know why he did it.  We are very concerned.  Any suggestions or guidance would be appreciated.

My first reaction was that possibly another child or someone had done it to him but as he says they didnt Could it have come out of the blue , what is he like at home, are their any wrestling games that could involve grabbing and he has done it at school.perhaps with friends or older siblings ?I am sure you have told he he cannot do this so perhaps let it go now and the school no doubt will keep an eye on it.
