my son is 6years old in the first, grade. he doesnt listen to the teacher, when he gets mad he takes off his shoes, throws himself on the floor and crys when he doesnt get his way. this is new to me, he never act this way before, he use to get 100, and 90's, now he is getting 70's, what do you think is the problem, he was doing just fine the first few months.

How was his kindergarten teacher vs. his 1st grade teacher? Do they have different teaching styles? How about his class size, is it larger than his kindergarten class? Alot of factors can come into play.

to improve this just start a chart such as when he wants some thing he has to work for it so you can base it on some thing he likes and give him a sticker so start a sticker chart.
