biting

I have a nine year old ADHD child who is defiant, disrespectful and abusive to his siblings.  My question is this:  Is it inappropriate or abusive to bit him back when he bites another child?  If so, what other things can I do?  He is on medication for ADHD and anxiety.  He steals, lies and back talks and I am really at my wit's end with him

Get the meds checked out the dosage and whether your child needs a change,I have heard this many times, what med is he on, as some cause a lot of side effects, ask your prescribing doctor.
