On looking up this drug all I can find is that for children the dosage goes by weight and there may be side effects .I think you should speak again to your doctor regarding the dose .
Under absolutely positively NO circumstances should you be providing cylndamycin to a two year old except upon the explicit instructions of a physician. A pharmacist is not the person to call.
Oh, I'd call your doctor or talk to the pharmacist. The proper dosage is often written on a bottle for a child when prescribed. Is it not there? If this is someone else's medicine, I wouldn't do that. Every two year old needs their own prescription of medicine. good luck, call the doc or pharmacist
