thats the thing with broncholitis because it's caused by a virus they won't do anythins unless your child can't feed or needs oxygen. best thing to do is small frequent feeds keep the little one warm and try raising head end on where they sleep. fingers crossed the little one is one the mend soon. my daughter has had it twice, the first time it went on for 4 months but the last time she had it (in dec) it lasted 3 weeks
my son is 5 months old since he was about a month old his chest was sounded like he had alot of mucus and he had a little whistle sound in his chest, nose, and throat i took him to his doctor he did some x-ray but he only told me that he had begining of broncholitis and they were not going to do anything but i'm really concern because this been going for months i dont know what to do
well--i did learn something recently, i dont know if itll apply, but...my kids lead levels have been all over the place, and we always assumed it was from the house we lived in, so we moved. to a 100 percent lead free home--which was what we were avised to do. but still no real change. upon sorting things out ourselves, they were getting their lead from their father--hes a welder, and the dust and everything else stick to him, and of course theyre hanging on him as soon as he walks thru the door. but it wasnt just the lead--he was bringing home silica, nickel and chromium too---i have everyone on a strict diet now and he cant touch anyone til he showers. but they were always pale, had sinus issues, i had one with a chronic cough, umm, serious sleep issues. what im trying to get at is...if shes been checked head to toe, and they dont see anything, there might be some positve to that, all of her organs are functioning, and if i converted her weight right, she seems big enough, hows her activity? evaluate her yourself. keep track of everything, then start changing things one at a time. something in her environment might be making her ill.
The hospital we go to is the only hospital in our area that deals with kids. God it feels like I'm banging my head against a brick wall.
try another hospital/doc--maybe a fresh look would find the answer, its seems like once something gets stuck in a docs head--or in their record---they cant look past it
