son has obsesive cleaning

My 12 year old son constantly wants the house clean. Ever since he was 4 he had to have his clothes perfect. He gets really stressed when the house is a mess even a little bit. He gets stressed before school and before sport games. Any ideas on how I can help him out with this.

I'm 12 too but a girl. I have the same problems. I always want to clean the house I always want it to be perfeectt such and such. Before any types of sports or before school I go mad. The key before school is just to make sure i'm competely sure i'm pre-pared and, talk to friends. Get use to hanging with people and walk with them etc....Before games pretty much the same things practice good, CONFIDENCE!!!! (the key word) Just breath in and out don't be so much concerned about anything but, what is nessarcy. thanks hope this helps!!!

Im only 15 but i used to want to clean and put away my parents messes when i was little until i was about 13 or 14 i was what you would call a label freak; and i found better things to keep my self occupied with such as doing sports, and going places with my friends...and I told me self that i cant control the house so i will just stick to having my room in order. I used to get so nervous before sports games or tryouts id freak my self out and want to throw up...i just had to focus and listen to music until i got there or out on the field, and then i just told myself that i was just like every body else out here and not to flipout if i messed up. hope this helped a little bit!
