tummy tuck

i just had a tummy tuck on september 17, 2010. my dr explained to me that he was goin to do a hip to hip incision. when i was on the operating table, he decided to do a different type of incision, which left me with wrinkles, an overhang and a whole lot of loose skin left over. I have never seen a tummy tuck done this way. i have never seen pictures of tummy tucks done by him, done this way. it looks worse that before i even got the tummy tuck. now that the swelling is goin down, i am forming a wrinkle (line) from my belly buttom up. i look horrible. is there a way were i can make him do it over without him charging me any more money? or will some other doctor be willing to help me?

First let me say that I don't think the surgeon should have done a different procedure unless it was necessary.  But I had a lower body lift and lipo a year ago, which got rid of all of the loose skin and fat on my lower abdomen.  For me, just a tummy tuck would not have done the job as I still would have had "love handles" and loose skin on the lower sides, etc.  I still have some, but probably could use an upper body lift.  I'm just throwing this out there as I don't know if u had extra skin on other parts of your abdomen or not. Maybe the body lift would have been a better procedure for u.

You should sue him and make him redo your surgery for free.  That was not what was agreed upon before surgery.  You have rights...exercise them!!
