Growing or milk supply?

Aubryana's been eating like she's been starved the last couple days. She'll be 11 weeks old on Wednesday. Could she be going through a growth spurt? She's exclusively breast fed, and my boobs feel like they're completely empty. I'm doubling up on my mother's milk tea (was only drinking two cups, now going to do four) for the next two days, today included and see if it boosts me up a little and then changing to three Tuesday and see if it helps any. She was eating earlier and I guess it wasn't coming out fast enough because she'd eat for a second or two and stop and cry, wasn't gassy or anything...when it started coming faster again she was happy. It was like I had a second let down. She hadn't had a good nap yet, and was cranky as well. DH has been home since he had surgery Thursday and between him and Elijah they've been waking her up...she only wants me and will cry when DH is holding her...so do you ladies think it's just a growth spurt or am I not producing enough? I'm lucky if I've gotten an hour and a half break, up until almost an hour ago when she finally fell asleep.

I think this is entirely normal, depending on your baby mine seem to go through spurts, on the 3rd week, 6th week, 9 week, and then 11 or 12th week and they breastfeed a lot.  They usually empty about both breasts during a feeding and then even feed while they are sleeping.  I exclusively breastfeed too and have been doing this now for about 9 years.  Also I notice when they are sick or not feeling well they nurse more then too.

If you feel like you are breastfeeding just about everywhere it's what I consider normal.  This won't last forever just in the beginning stages.  But trust me it can be frustrating for your husband because the baby does not want to be away from its food source lol, so yes little time to take a shower, get dressed etc.  but yes just rest assured it will not be like this all the time :)  Keep us posted indeed!

Must be a growth spurt. Brady has done that too. He usually goes every 2 hours between feeds but there's clusters of days here and there when he only goes an hour or hour and a half between them.
I know what you mean about the second let down...I've found that's happened to me before too. And just because you feel empty doesn't mean you are. I've thought that too and there's still milk that comes out.
