When to add rice cereal to.bottle?
Its been awhile since my first son was a newborn and i forget how early you can add rice cereal to the bottle? My son is only 2 weeks old but very gassy mainly at night and was wondering if its too early to start rice cereal.
With my first i added rice cereal in my sons bottles starting at 8weeks. And by 4months he was on stage 1 foods. He was also born 5weeks early and he never had a problem starting solids earlier.
Its recommended that babies start cereal around 4-6 months of age. It isn't recommended that it be added to bottles unless directed by your child's doctor.
