hurts to pee

So it's been 4 weeks now since I had my c section. Right after surgery it was excruciating to pee and I figured that was normal cause all my organs and my bladder and what not have been adjusted and well I had just been cut open. I figured it was normal. But now it still kinda hurts like a burning pain. Is this normal this far after surgery? I'm starting to worry...

Well just for them to do a urine sample you shouldn't have to have an appointment. Just call them and they will probably just give you a lab order, and if it comes back with positive infection they will call you in some antibiotics.

I knew after surgery it hurt probably cause of the catheter. But being a month after now its like shouldn't that have healed lol Idk I might make an early appt just in case. If I have an infection I want it to go away and not spread

Yes deff let them know then unless it gets worse.or you develop a fever. Just watch your coke intake and stuff until then because if it is a uti those make it sooooo much worse smh. I learned the hard way lol.

It's kinda both. From below my belly button to down in that area. I have my 6 week post partum appt in 2 weeks and if it's still bothering me I'm gonna let them know

Is it burning in your abdomen or down in the urethra? If it's down in your private area then yes when you get the catheter sometimes it will cut you a bit. But you also want to watch it because you could get an infection from it.

If it's up in your abdomen it could be a UTI. Either way i would call my doc and tell them whats goin on and see if they can do a urinalysis.
