Pain?

I just recently started getting sharp pains in my boobs! I have PCOS and I am taking metformin, and have not had a period in 39 days. I have taken a pregnancy test and it was negative....but I have heard that some people on metformin have boob pain once they start the meds.....does anyone else find that to be true? Will the pain go away?

I can not take any birth control or any form of hormones because I had blood clots in my leg after I had my son. Therefore, all I am on is metformin.

Im on metformin too, but never had a side effect like that. Maybe your period is going to start?? Your doctor didnt give you anything to jump start ur period? Or place u on bc pills? I take metformin 500mg 2x and yasmin bc pills. I hope by end of this year i will discontinue bc pills and ttc next yr.
