I hope everything works out for you. My doc has changed her mind after receiving all my test results. She is going to put me on Clomid not metformin like originally planned. I now have to weight over a month for them to induce a period do I can start Clomid. The wait it's going to seem like forever. Hopefully after you and your husband talk you can get into a doctor soon. Good luck. Keep us posted!
Thank you, I'm going to discuss it with him when I see him on the 6th.. And you are right.. I gained a few pounds.. I've cut back on a lot of things..
Sorry that should say Clomid helps you ovulate.
There is a couple things you can do. I have PCOS and am not over weight nor do I have ant of the normal signs besides a really long cycle.
- If you are over weight, try and get down to a healthy weight by eating healthy and exercising 4-5 times a week for 30 min.
- your doc can put you on metformin. This helps regulate some of your hormones. It is also used for diabetics but you do not have to be a diabetic for this to work. This is what my doc currently has me on.
- your doc can put you on clomid which will help you obviate.
- your doc can put you on both metformin and Clomid.
Before your doc does either med he or she will run some blood work tests and do an ultrasound.
Good luck! !
