Pregnancy with PCOS

Hi, I would like other people to let me know what they experience with their PCOS.  My husband and i are trying to have another baby ( I currently have 2 girls).  For the last two months I have felt very queezy, thrown up a few times, headaches, stomache cramps and giggles, bloating, senstive breasts and stomache, and stomache feels kind of that heavy feeling, my last period was on the 31st of December and was 5 days late and it still hasn't arrived this month.  Am I just deluding myself in wanting to be preg or are these common symptoms of PCOS.
I was on meds to fall with my first daughter but my second was a surprise with a mix up on the pill.  But I have also had a Dr tell me that it is impossible to fall preg if you have PCOS.  Please help.

Thanks for the comments.  7 days late now and still nothing.  Did another test yest but still neg.  I have another app with my doc today, so will see what comes of that, hopefully get an ultrasound done to see what is going on in there and if I'm not preg then def tell him I want to go on metformin.
Thank you again. Will keep you posted.

It could be your hormones making you feel that way.  If you have irregular periods it may also be to soon to tell if your pregnant, I started getting nauseous at 6 DPO which of course is too soon to show up on a test.  You can experience nausea soon after implantation which can happen as early as 5 DPO so it's not unheard of.  Maybe wait a week and retest with first morning urine.  And in the mean time find a new doctor who isn't so pessimistic.  It took us 3.5 years with injections and 5 rounds of IUI but after 3 doctors told me it wasn't possible I'm now 32 weeks with a little girl!!  Don't give up.  Also I agree with the above poster you should be on metformin to help regulate your hormones, and if you are preggo it will help sustain the pregnancy.

Still no period, I did a test on the 31st came back neg, but as each day goes by I am feeling more and more nauseous.  I am booked in to see my Gyno on the 11th of April, dont think my doc will put me on any meds until I have been to see her.
5 days late and counting.  Might do another test in a couple of days.
Thanks for your advise.

If I were you I would take a pregnancy test. And if you are trying for a baby go on Metformin to regularize the period and predict ovulation. It is not unheard of for people with PCOS getting pregnant, but it is relatively difficult. So pregnancy test first and gon on metformin if your kidney and liver functions are good.

If I were you I would take a pregnancy test just to be sure. It's better to know so if you are you can start seeing the doctor. It is NOT impossible for a woman to become pregnant with PCOS. I have a 2 1/2 year old, and I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 14. We actually were not trying to get pregnant, but were not trying not to (if it happened Great, if it didn't okay). I did not use any fert drugs to get pregnant with him. So believe me it's not impossible....nothing is impossible with God. =)  Best of luck to you!
