You need something like Provera to help your body have a period. With the TTC part, it will be hard seeing that you have PCOS...but it's not impossible!!!! Many ladies on here have had babies while dealing with PCOS. I'm also going to assume you have already taken an HPT? You also have to see if you are ovulating on your own. Just because you didn't before, does not mean you still don't ovulate. Also, please see a new GYN. And, for furture reference if you haven't done so before...anytime you move to a different state it is reconmended you get your doctor files so when you see a new doctor, they know what they are dealing with. It helps, so you don't have to go over the same story twice.

I'm not TTC, however I'm around your age, and have had PCOS for at least 12 years (10 of which - untreated)
I've gone 8 months now with no period. My doctor has me put on progesterone.
We'll see how that works...

The only other medications I was put on were Demulen (bcp) and Aldactone - my first round of treatment "YEARS" ago...than a few months back my current gyn put me on Diane 35...and now, progesterone.

I am told by others that progesterone will kickstart your cycle.
You may want to ask your physician about this....
Good luck with it.
