pregnancy

hi everyone....
i have been married for 2 years and wanted to have a baby right away....then my periods became abnormally irregular as once i didnt have them for about 4 months (they werent exactly regular before but at least i had them almost everymonth)... meanwhile i gained some weight.. went to see a doc and she diagnosed me with PCOs... it was a total shock because i wanted a baby so badly...there wasnt anyother abnormality except the weight thing. she started me on clomiphene citrate 50 mg for 6 months. my husband is a doc, he and my PCP both suggested to take metformin along with the clomid. i did ovulate during the time i took my medicine from july 2008-january 2009(in sep, i wasnt with my husband so i skipped a month) but i didnt get preg. now i want to try again. may be with a 100mg dose. but am not sure when to start. should i wait???? any suggestions would be helpful. thank u all.

Yes you can break from clomid anytime you want. Talk to the doctor and see when is the best time to start.

Hi, i have been ttc for over 2 years and a few times i took a break from ttc when i decided i was ready to start again i made an appointment and we made a plan.  are you already tracking your bbt's?  when i would go in i would bring in my charts so my doctor had a history of my annovulation.  I would doctor your doctor as soon as possible you never know how long it will take to get pregnant and you know you want the baby, just go for it.  good luck...SSBD to you..

Please don't take any meds unless your doctor has prescribed them. You would have to ask your doctor on when the best days to take it. There are two different cd to start them.
