Anyone in your first trimester?

This is a post mainly for those in their first trimester to drop a line for the lovely ladies all on the verge of giving birth to answer.  (Get ready 3rd trimester girls!!!)

Does anyone have any unusual symptoms?  I am a tearful nut bag the last 10 days or so and Im 10 wks.  Ive cried over 2 really dumb dumb things.  And while I usually keep my hubby in stiches laughing lately he stares at me like I am possessed (which I am by his child growing in my stretching womb).  I have the sex drive of a 16 yr old boy lately and havent had any complaints about that from hubby either. (he's such a trooper!) I am excited and terrified as are most of us on here. I look forward to the daily knowledge I pick up on being pregnant.  And the exciting terms Ive learned like "cankles", "multichin" and "super boobs".  So ladies share with us any of the usual or unusual experiences you've had in your first trimester.

Up and down emotions (I've had prior experience with depression so husband is being very careful to snap me out of it). Queasiness throughtout the day yet no vomiting, just dry heave wretching (my husband cooked shrimp and garlic pasta yesterday and made me wretch non stop). Occassional cramping (which I hate). Fluctuations between insomina and wiped out. But I'll take every symptom with a smile if it means that all is going well.

Hi,
I am 7wks5days. My morning sickness is not always in the AM. Sometimes it starts in the AM then goes away, then other days it will last until late in the day. Never know from one day to the next. I haven't actually gotten sick, just alot of nausea. Its strange to say but after all we've been thru we are excited about every symptom.

Well I am in my 8th week.  I like adgal get evening sickness, and i am as moody and cranky as they come these days.  One minute I am fine and the next you might want to leave the room before my head spins.........lol.  Then i just cry sometimes for no reason, just feeling emotional.  I think i am more tired because my 2 yr old dd keeps me running and the boys with the bickering all the time.  But I think the most unusual symptom (if that is what it is) i am having is for the past 2-3 weeks, I have noticed my right ankle is swollen.  It wasn't bad at first, but today it looks bad.  I don't remeber hurting it so I am not sure if that has anything to do with being pregnant and change in circulation, or I am just ODD.............LOL  Gonna call the Dr. Monday and just try to keep it up this weekend.

Other than that I am excited about the new addition and anxious to get through the first trimester.

I second that.  It helps so much to know what lays ahead for us.  I too find myself crazy emotional right now.  Everything makes me cry.  And no morning sickness...its late day and evening sickness.  Last night DH took me out for dinner, and I had to leave the restaurant.  All the smells overwhelmed me and had to get outside before I, well, you know.  That was fun!!  Poor DH said I actually turned a shade of green...not my colour..lol.  And its still early, only 5 weeks.

The biggest thing I have gotten from the ladies about to deliver is that I too can get there.  I don't know if I would have had the courage to try again, or stay as positive as I am without hearing their stories, and overcoming some pretty incredible situations.  It is so inspiring, and helps me stay strong!  I too would love to hear first trimester stories!

Thanks for posting this carp, its a great idea.
