my whole family had a really bad stomach flu this past week.. i did as well.. can this have caused  me to lose the baby????? my lower back has started to cramp.. and i am starting to get cramps in my lower stomach.. i dont "feel" pregnant either.. i have had mc's in the past... but .. that was because my thyroid problems.. which are fixed.. and have been for a really long time.. i just wonder if the stomach flu did this . anyone experiece something like this?

I had spotting at 9 wks and they said it was probably just implantation.  I had an u/s and everything was fine.  I'd go get an u/s.  I'll be thinking of  you, too.

well.. i will call the doc tomorrow.. but.. at this point.. and i am not trying to be a horrible person.. but i think i have lost the baby... i am having bad lower back pain.. some cramping.. this is the second day POST stomach flu.. i was told it was a virus.. and when i did more research.. i found that it does say that you have an increased risk of mc when you have a viral thing or a bacterial thing. please. its not meant to scare anyone else who is in their first trimester.. I am passing more blood now.. almost like a period.. with some clots.. small.. dime size.. but still. it makes one very hard to think positive.. i want to thank everyone who commented.. and thankyou so much.. i will let you know what happens at the docs office tomorrow..

If you have had the stomach flu this past week accompanied with vomiting it could have caused you some bleeding. I would also call the doc, I guess the question I would ask would be if the cramps are from the flu and maybe an upset stomach or something more serious. Sending positive thoughts and prayers your way!!

Oh know, please don't panic. I remember at 8w3d w/dd for some reason I woke up w/blood and I thought for sure it was all over. Nope, not sure what it was and now she's 18mo's. Call your dr. and get in for an appt for an ultrasound. Check in w/us so we know what's going on! Best of luck...

yes, i would go in to have them check you hcg levels.  Since it seems like only some spotting right now, maybe its not an m/c.  I have never had one myself, but from what I have heard from a friend, she said that usually if you are at 8w already, there would be more bleeding and a bit of tissue with it.
