Blood at 11wks 3 days

Hi everyone, I've just been to the toilet and there was fresh blood when I wiped :(  I've got no cramping or pain of any kind but I'm really scared.  I had been very nauseas with very sore boobs up until about a week ago and it just stopped.  I'm scared this is a mmc :-(

Thanks adgal, it really helps to be talking about it.  It's daft really because I had bleeding with my other 4 as well, with my youngest daughter it was a gush of water and blood and I really thought that was it, but she's now nearly 8 years old.  Those are the thoughts I shall hold on when i head to bed.  I shall be taking it very very easy and will post as soon as i have more news.  As for BDing, that can go on hold for a while!!!!

I don't think anything around here is TMI...lol.  I bet that is what did it though.  That cervix is so darned sensitive at this stage.  Glad the bleeding isn't heavy, that's a positive thing!!  Yeah, the on and off bleeding did almost drive me crazy....and there always seemed to be a different reason for it.  First I had a hematomma, which bled itself out thank God.  No harm to the baby whatsover.  Then they said I had a small tear in the placenta...again, it never got worse and didn't hurt the baby, although I did have to take it very very easy.  And now apparantly it's due to the fact that I am losing my mucus plug a tiny bit at a time.  Even knowing what was causing it, my heart still beat a little faster everytime it happened.  I'm sure they will do an earlier scan now.  And they might possibly be able to pick up h/b on doppler.  Its a bit early...some get it now, others don't.  But get those feet up and try to relax...I know you'll worry, no way around it.  One of the things I did was make a list of all the things that could cause it.  There were so many that didn't hurt the baby, and only 1 that was really bad news.  It made me feel a lot better.  Take it easy, and keep us posted.  You know we're here for you!!

Hi adgal, thanks for the words of support and comfort.  I did BD this morning (tmi) so perhaps that is the reason, lets hope so.  It's 8pm here so there's nothing I can do till the morning.  If the bleeding were heavy or if I was in pain then of course I would get to the ER (A&E over here) but as long as it doesn't get worse than it is at the moment I should be ok until the morning (apart from emotionally that is).  How on earth did you cope with on off bleeding throughout, I would be a wreck!  Hopefully they'll book me in for an earlier scan, I've got one on the 28th but I can't wait that long now.

I will keep you updated, even though I don't comment very often on here i do check in daily to see how everyone is doing.

Anytime we see blood it is so scary.  Remember that there are many many things that can cause it, and only one is bad.  I have done this throughout my entire pregnancy (on and off) and everything is just fine.  Your at 11 weeks, and although yes, it can still happen, it is far less likely then it would have been even a few weeks ago.  It could be a small hematomma, cervix irritation (especially if you BD'ed recently) or a host of other things.  Call your OB or head to ER.  It's probably nothing, but the peace of mind is worth so much.  Thinking about you, and please post and let us know when you get an answer.  ((((Hugs)))) and try really hard not to think the worst.  But do get checked..sitting in limbo worrying is the worst!!  XOXO
