Breast feeding qiestions?

So my son is 6weeks old and I've been exclusively breast feeding at first we started out rough because of sore nipples so i tried formula and still do once a week because he becomes fussy and doesn't latch on. My question is how many ounces does a baby he age intake when I pump and use the bottle he never drinks no ore than 2.5-3 ounces and when he is on the breast after 8-10 minutes he stops I just wanna know if he is getting enough

Baby will only need 1-1.25 oz per hour. So, if you nurse him and then give him a bottle 3 hours later he only needs between 3 and 3.75 oz. So it sounds like he is fine. As long as diaper out put is good ( at least 6-10 wet/dirty diapers in a 24 hour period) and he seems satisfied you are doing just fine momma :) don't fall into the trap of topping him off with ate bottle after you nurse him, it isn't needed

That sounds about right.  I can pump 2-4 oz per boob in 10-15 min.  My baby definitely doesn't nurse as long as before, but seems satisfied.  I would say if baby goes as long in between feedings from a bottle or boob your good.  Its tough cause you can't measure/see how much baby gets. Good luck to you and great job at sticking with it!! :-)
