Clutching at straws but want your thoughts

Ok, here it is a brief as I can make it.  I was told Friday that my baby had stopped growing at 7 wks 3 days and that there was no heartbeat, I'm booked for an evacuation procedure tomorrow.  Now according to my LMP I would have been 12 weeks pregnant yesterday, hence baby stopped over 4 weeks ago.  I got my BFP on the last day of November.  Is it at all possible that I was not as far gone as my LMP suggests.  I have a short cycle of around 25 days.  Could it be that I'm only 8 or 9 weeks pregnant?  Is it possible for a sac to measure 7 wks 3 days but the embryo not be at the same gestation.  Is it possible for a heartbeat not to show at 7 wks 3 days?

Since the couple of bright red bleeds on Weds and Thurs I'm only losing brown blood.  I have only the teeniest of cramps and only at night.  I just don't know what to think.  I did have bad nausea and really sore boobs but that all disappeared about 2 weeks ago now (another sign of a missed miscarriage apparently).

I know I'm clutching at straws but just wanted to hear others thoughts on this and whether anyone has had a similar experience.

I agree...if you are unsure at all, just request another US in a week. Honestly, it doesn't sound promising...but for your own peace of mind, it wouldn't hurt to double-check. I think, for the most part, a heartbeat would show by seven weeks. God bless you...

You can always wait and request another ultrasound in a week.  It wouldn't hurt.
